I have two older brothers. One is 10 years old than me and one is 13 years older than me.

wednesday's bliss

So last week it was the new DMB cd getting me through...this week it's this chocolate. So yummy. My manager keeps a huge bowl of candy in her office and I am totally wiping her out of the below image. Bliss.I also have to add that I have listened to the following Iron & Wine cd all day today. Love them. They are on my "must see" list. Have been a HUGE fan for years and can't believe I just now downloaded this cd. Fantastic!

You should definitely try out both!

i heart my ipod today...and every day really

mr. charlie

Well Charlie has been adopted. By the cutest couple ever that live here in Charleston. It wasn't an easy decision to make but ultimately I just can't take care of another dog right now. I mean, there are only so many animals a single girl can adopt before she becomes the crazy dog/cat lady right?!

So, whereas I was not excited about taking Charlie out there today it ended up making me feel much better. He is going to have a wonderful home. They travel to Maine several times a year to a cabin they have on the water and we all know Charlie loves to go swimming! Note - I did warn them about keeping an eye on him around their garden. ;)
Here is Charlie in his new home. Wish you could see all his toys. He was having so much fun!

5 things that made me happy on this rainy day

1. I have been listening to the new DMB cd on repeat since I downloaded it yesterday morning. I love it. It's been super busy and stressful at work this week and this cd has helped get me through!

2. My friend Brantley had her second baby yesterday and emailed pictures this morning. What a cutie! Her name is Reese Alice Hodges. Mom and baby are both doing well. Can't wait to get to Beaufort to meet Baby Reese!

3. Went to the dentist today. Clean teeth and no cavities!

4. My flowers are still alive. Can't believe it! And more are coming soon...SO excited!

5. And last, I am sending my friend Julia a surprise in the mail. Love surprises. :)

OMG.
We did hear some of his newer music but I would say the majority of it was old school Snoop. Exactly what I spent highschool listening to. Riding around in my friend Brantley's pathfinder, smoking cigs and thinking we were so cool listening to Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre. What nerds! And did I forget a word of it? Nope. Knew every word and the people around me were cracking up. I am going to have to say that I have never had so much fun at a concert before. And I have been to many. Love music. LOVE Snoop Dogg!
