nothing wrong with being 95...

This weekend I am celebrating a friend's birthday, working and then heading out of town to see my 95 year old grandmother (dad's mom), that I absolutely adore.  I can't wait to see my family and relax.

Random pics from this week...




1 - My favorite dog found a furever home!  She's been returned once so here's to better luck this time!
2 - Loving the new body scrub I made with oatmeal, raw sugar and olive oil
3 - My new return address stamp for the funeral thank you notes
4 - The beet salad I made was the bomb!  I am now obsessed with the color of beets!
5 - My dinner last night...yum!

    Yummy! Your dinner looks delicious...I wish I wasn't allergic to shellfish! Stupid iodine.

    I love beets :) I always try to introduce them to my college friends... it is amazing how many people have never had beets before! My favorite is beets with goat cheese on little toasts...so yummy and easy to do!
